How do I add GST to an amount?
Choose 'Add GST', enter the base amount and rate. GST = amount x rate, and the total is amount + GST.
How do I remove GST from an inclusive price?
Choose 'Remove GST'. Base = total / (1 + rate), and GST is the difference between the total and the base.
How is GST split into CGST, SGST and IGST?
With India selected, choose 'Within state' to split the rate equally into CGST and SGST — 18% becomes 9% + 9% — or 'Between states' to show it as a single IGST line. The total tax is the same either way. The rate list follows the slabs in force since 22 September 2025: 0%, 5%, 18% and 40%, plus 0.25% and 3% for specific goods.
