- It reads the position of every piece of text on the page, groups text into rows by vertical position, and detects columns from the vertical gaps that run down the page. You see a live preview so you can check the result before downloading.
- Should I download XLSX or CSV?
- Choose Excel (XLSX) to open straight in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers with numbers kept as numbers. Choose CSV for a plain, universal text file you can import anywhere — you can also pick the delimiter (comma, semicolon or tab).
- Does it work on scanned PDFs?
- No. Extraction needs real, selectable text. Scanned pages are images, so there is nothing to read. It works best on digital PDFs — statements, invoices and reports — with clearly separated rows and columns.
