- Which languages are supported?

- Why does the first run take a few seconds to start?
- The first extraction downloads the OCR engine and language data (a few megabytes) to your browser. This is cached afterwards, so later images are much faster. Everything runs on your device — the image is never uploaded.
- How can I get the best results?
- Use a sharp, well-lit, straight image with good contrast between the text and background. Photos of printed or typed text work best; very stylised fonts, handwriting and low-resolution screenshots are harder to read accurately.
